Amen sister, AMEN!
Been there, done that, pointed the finger at myself and then laughed at the moron I was pointing to.

At least I got some entertainment out of it.

Hey thanks, that was very comforting.

Yeah, theres even a warning about going outside.

The game is very simple in comparison to other games with large and obscure crafting systems.

I agree, we do need to laugh at ourselves more. I try to keep it light even when I majorly screw up as I very obviously did last night.

Well let me just say this about that. This is my very first MMORPG. I've been playing for about two weeks now and I think it is a very, very cool game but I don't find much that is really simple about it. There is a lot to learn about every little facet and nuance of this game and that can be a bit overwhelming but it is coming to me very, very slowly. I just don't learn things that fast but I do learn them eventually. I'm also impulsive, so I try new things without doing the homework and yes, that gets me into trouble sometimes.

So please, I wrote mainly just to vent as a release and share my experience to possibly help another newb not do the same thing and while I'm not looking for a pity party, I'd sure appreciate it if you "more excellent, gifted, experienced and smarter players" would give me a break and stop rubbing my nose in it.

Thanks and peace.

Just ignore the people who take the piss (as in those who are doing it out of spite), there's alot of stuck up people on this forum who can do nothing but belittle others just to try and make themselves look good.

As long as you learn from your mistakes, which it looks like you have judging by the conversation, that's all that matters.

OP: Unlucky. I'm sure many people have made similar mistakes. At least now you won't do it again =)

Well, I'm still not sure if it was the Rune, The Insignia, either or both that knocked out the Superior, can you help me there?

It was the rune. You can have one rune and one insignia per piece of armor. The superior vigor was a rune, so when you applied the other one it overwrote it.

The new rune you added overwrote the old rune. (New insignias will overwrite old insignias)

Thank you Verene & Kook~NBK~, that helps. Other than one rune and one insignia are there any other helpful items you can safely add besides dye?

Closing this because it'll only attract more trolls. You now know what caused it anyway.
